According to Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province, the revenue of software and information technology services in Hebei reached 73.493 billion Chinese yuan in 2022, with the scale exceeding 70 billion Chinese yuan for the first time, up 10.29% year-on-year.

In the period of 14th Five-Year Plan, Hebei has promoted the development and expansion of the software and information technology service industry, and cultivated software leading enterprises such as Huawei Technology Service Co., Ltd.. There are 268 software enterprises with revenue of more than 10 million and 47 listed enterprises. China Mobile System Integration Co., Ltd. was selected as one of the top 100 software enterprises in China. The number of “professional, proficient, special, new” medium-sized and small software enterprises reached 106. The income of Shijiazhuang and Langfang ’s software and information technology service industry exceeded 25 billion Chinese yuan, and the industrial agglomeration effect was prominent.

In addition, the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone has achieved remarkable results, and the scale of online operating servers in Hebei has exceeded 2.6 million. The revenue of software and information technology services in Hebei has increased from 46.43 billion Chinese yuan at the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period to 73.493 billion Chinese yuan now, maintaining a double-digit growth for two consecutive years.

In the next step, Hebei will focus on attracting investment around the top 100 software companies, the top 50 big data companies and unicorn companies in China, speed up the establishment of large software companies, “professional, proficient, special, new” software enterprises and top 100 software companies, advance the construction of software industrial parks, and promote the construction of famous software cities. By the end of the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Hebei will strive to build its software and information technology service industry into a 100-billion-level pillar industry.
